What is prescription verification?
Federal Law requires us to verify prescriptions before we can ship any contact lenses. The prescription verification process has two routes:
- 1st - You can fax us a copy of your prescription. We will check your order against your prescription, and if they match then we can immediately begin processing your order.
- 2nd - You can enter the contact information (name and phone number) for your eye care provider. We will contact them on your behalf and verify that your order matches your prescription. Once we contact your eye care provider they will have eight hours to respond to our request for verification. During this time your order has a status of RXFaxed. If they fail to respond in 8 hours we will assume that your prescription is valid and your order will be shipped as it was ordered.
