For the first time I have contacts that are comfortable. I do not have to kiss the computer screen to work and can see distances. Regrets that eye wetting solutions have the print so fine that you need a magnifying glass to read the labels.
My Experience with SofLens MultiFocal
I am an aircraft mechanic. I need to see close up very often. Glasses just get in the way, fog-up or get dirty. These lenses did the trick. I can see very well up close and adequate far away. Since I'm farsighted, that is not a problem. I do recommend ClearCare for cleaning as the 'rub' type cleaners tend to wear the lens faster.

Amazing!! I can see without my glasses for the first time in 40 years! This is my very first time wearing contacts and I am loving them. I have told everyone I know who wear glasses to see their doctor about the Bausch & Lomb Multifocal contacts. I can't even feel them in! I thought they would be uncomfortable and hard to put in... but once you get the hang of it, it takes just seconds to put in and you are on with you day. Yes you will still need glasses for reading the paper and for working on the puter. But that is a minor issue for me.
I feel the prices for these contacts are on the high side (I am retired) but I will shop around for the best price!

First time contact wearer.
I've never worm bifocal contacts before and today is my first day with the Soflens Multi Focal contact lenses. I've only had the Soflens Multi focal contacts in for a few hours. I didn't wear glasses before now except to read for the past 13 years and those were only the kinds you buy over the counter. I am amazed at how well I see now with the softlens multifocals and wish I had done this sooner. Compared to no glasses this is a miracle! But comparing reading with my contacts versus my reading glasses, the glasses were better but I am typing all of this with only my contacts on now. So it's not that bad but could be better. I won't go back to reading glasses, I can see now! :)
Bausch & Lomb SofLens Multi Focal
The Soflens Multifocal contacts are a very good alternative to multifocal glasses. Comfort is outstanding - can wear as long as I'm awake (16-20 hrs / day). Plan on some trade off's though. Reading power only comes in two settings, so for crisp distance vision plan on still needing reading glasses for small print or extreme close up - expect the reverse if you set for reading (minor distortion at distance - (I figure I'm seeing about 20/25 or so). All in all I much prefer the Bausch & Lomb Soflens Multifocal contact lenses to glasses.
