What does Availability mean?
1-800-Get-Lens is able to stock 90% of the popular contact lenses and prescriptions. For orders of lenses we have in stock we are able to process your order the day we receive it and ship it the following business day. However, if we do not have the contact lenses you order in stock it may take longer to process your order. This can add up to 5 additional business days to the process.
We assign each lens an Availability Status to help you estimate how long your order will take to process and be shipped. Each status level indicates how long until an order will ship, you will need to add the estimated shipping time for your shipping method to get an accurate idea of how long it will take for your order to reach you.
- In stock - These are our most popular lenses and, in general, they ship the same day if ordered by 2 PM CST.
- Orders normally ship within 1-2 business days - We keep as many of them in stock as possible and most lenses will ship same day if ordered by 2PM CST. However, some parameters may require an additional day of processing.
- Made to Order Lens - These lenses need to be custom ordered and made and take between 3-4 weeks to process
- % of lenses in stock - In stock parameters normally ship same day if ordered by 2 PM CST. Parameters not in stock take 1-5 business days to process.
